2025 DRAWING FOR COMPOSITION - Instructor Elizabeth Carr

Every artist utilizes the fundamentals of drawing.

In this course you will learn a lot about how to draw with a painting in mind. We focus on composition and draw more with a pen than a pencil. We will use gray markers to show shading and learn to do small sketches. You will learn how to plan your darks and lights & make your eye move around the painting. You will learn how to use perspective. You will learn, most importantly, what to leave out of the drawing.
